Internet could be a lot of different things, depending on what are your interests or needs. It could serve as a social network, an educational source or a place for entertainment. But what it actually represents is a mirror reflecting our true image, which could be surprising sometimes, to say the least. If you don’t believe it or you are a bit confused what exactly do we mean by that, check out the images in the list below and you’ll probably agree.
1. Simple instructions by simple people
If some particular instructions are needed in order to prevent certain actions or keep people safe, perhaps it is best to keep things basic so everyone would understand those instructions. However, it seems that the person who designed this sign was not the brightest student in class.
2. And they say that chivalry was dead
When a boy and a girl go out on their first date, both of them soak up all the initial impressions they could get from each other. We guess that the guy from this story did not make the best first impression.
3. There are certain times when you realize something about yourself
Your self-awareness becomes higher at some points in life and you are able to look at the reflection in the mirror and admit that you were not particularly proud of yourself.
4. Self-discipline is everything, if you have at least some of it
We have all been in a situation when it is crucial to be able to prioritize things. For example, you know that tomorrow is a big day for some reason, and you know that you have to get in bed early, and still you find yourself wasting time on YouTube in the middle of the night – meet your true self.
5. The things you love sometimes stand in the way of the things you need
Addictions could exist in every possible form or way, so being addicted to cat photos on Facebook or different memes is something like a disorder, and you’d have a very hard time realizing it. But if you love these things and they make you happy, maybe that’s just who you are.
6. When you realize that you should have just stayed alone
Sometimes you could find yourself not being able to properly communicate with other people, even if they were your closest ones. We guess we all have such days.
7. Shopping online can be stressful
If you bought something online and you are too anxious to get it, the delivery term often seems like ages to you, and your impatience causes you to be more or less frustrated. Sounds familiar, perhaps?
8. Sometimes your ‘alone time’ is a completely blank period of time
Even if you realize that you are probably going to be late for an event or a meeting, you just get devoured by the thoughts in your head and without noticing it, you lose an hour or maybe two, just sitting and staring at one particular spot.
9. Overthinking everyday tasks could be exhausting
Sometimes we have trouble choosing the one thing we really want to order, and after we get it, we realize it is not what we wanted. This kind of decision making leads to slight panic in certain moments.
10. If you say you could do something, you better be able to really do it
Making a good impression is easy, but making a bad one is even easier, so do not boast excessively or you’ll most likely end up in a hard situation.
11. Breaking up with a stranger via a text message says a lot
You could imagine the kind of person that would end a relationship like this, without giving a chance for explanation.
12. Meeting someone means you have to memorize too much information at once
If you are the kind of person that completely forgets the name of the person that you’ve just met, don’t feel bad about it; we do that all the time. Just be sure to find what it was if you have to meet again.
13. When you think you could handle anything but you couldn’t be more wrong
The know-it-all type of person often ends up in situations that are beyond ridiculous and while there may be some exceptions, relying on what you already know, when you should have put in the work and study, says a lot about you.
